A Sunday Talk

Though written in 1978, this talk by President Kimball seems to be more powerful now for us as a society. And I have no doubt that his words will seem more wise and even prophetic in the years to come. It's amazing to me to read of small grass roots organizations, families and individuals who feel compelled to act; compelled to do their best to make the lives of the vulnerable better. The feeling seems to be growing throughout the United States. What a good place to live today, that we have the abundance to help other people.
May God bless us all to understand what He expects of us, that we may act and become the pure in heart...a Zion people.

I'm definitely going to read that, thanks. My favorite talk ever was also given in 1978, only it was given by Neal Maxwell. It, too, seems more applicable to us today than it would have back then, especially having gone through Prop 8 and 22. It's called, "A More Determined Discipleship." Let me know what you think if you look it up.
