I went out to visit Angela for a little fun.... and came back with a new hairdo!
Not sure I would have been brave enough to let anyone else have at my hair. I kept telling Angela, cut it a little bit more.
I like it. What do you think?
What's hard to like is that old lady staring back at me from the picture!
These next pics are from a cutting I did NOT like!
We woke Wednesday morning to the sound of tree saws, which your dad at first thought was the mooing of a cow! haha He probably wondered if I had snuck a Jersey into the back with the hens! I was just getting out of bed, when it dawned on me that those chain saws were hacking at MY ELM TREE!
I threw on my clothes, grabbed my camera and flew out the front door. I was hopping mad!! The butcher in the tree froze when he saw me coming down the driveway. Too late. Leafy amputated limbs were strewn all around the ground.
These men work for the city... it's not their fault they butcher the trees lining our street. And they probably thought it was a city tree, not realizing the city trees they had planted had died, or fallen over in the rain, so I had planted my own elm tree.
It was a beauty, providing lots of dense shade on these hot days. It was huge! But no more. Now it's a scrawny little thing... I'm embarrassed for it.
Why does the city 'trim' the trees which line the street during the hot summer???
As you can see, it's now pretty top heavy. This is how all the trees are whacked. When a limb falls crashing down a year or two from now, I hope it doesn't hit one of our cars.

I'm sorry about the tree! But I think your hair looks great!
Love the haircut!
Don't love the tree-cut, though -- sorry!
I realize this blog is for your kids, but I wanted to chime in that your hair and you are gorgeous! You should always feel that way when you look in the mirror because you are!
