Across the country, passengers simmered over being forced to choose scans by full-body image detectors or probing pat-downs. Top federal security officials said Monday that the procedures were safe and necessary sacrifices to ward off terror attacks.
Claims on behalf of authorities that naked body scanner images are immediately destroyed after passengers pass through new x-ray backscatter devices have been proven fraudulent after it was revealed that naked images of Indian film star Shahrukh Khan were printed out and circulated by airport staff at Heathrow in London.

Now who in their right mind couldn't see this coming??? And even better, these scans produce images that break the child pornography laws in the UK.
ONE LAST THOUGHT.. "Dr David Brenner, head of Columbia University's center for radiological research, said although the danger posed to the individual passenger is 'very low', he is urging researchers to carry out more tests on the device to look at the way it affects specific groups who could be more sensitive to radiation."
Those groups particularly affected are children. Skin cancer may be induced and show up 20 years later. It's been recommended that the neck and head area not be scanned.
In all their getting, let them get wisdom.
