Fruitless Fall

Will someone please read this book??
Though I'm surrounded by perfectly nice people in this house, no one is really interested in reading this book. Not one whit! I've read it.... devoured it, actually, and now have no one with whom to talk.
It is along the lines of Michael Pollan's excellent books and yet different still. This is the story about the demise of the honeybee and other pollinators and what it means to us all. This is not a sudden decline, but one that has been happening while we go blithely on our ways. Now the honeybee is reaching her breaking point. Although I'm familiar with honeybees, varona mites and CCD, the author has researched well and includes lots of information of which I was unaware. This is definitely a layman's (or laywoman's) book. And although your children may not enjoy it as a bedtime story, they will certainly appreciate your explaining what a marvelous creation the bee is. No wonder the Nephites brought them to the New World!
So please... won't you hurry to read Fruitless Fall and tell me what you think?

I was just at the library today and forgot to get it. But it says they have a copy in, so maybe tomorrow I will have a chance to go get it.
