Our little girls have officially passed their first week...
Their wings are growing and they've learned to fly several inches in their small cardboard 'coop'. Two of them have an obvious tail and none of them fit into our hands as snuggly as before. Each of the peeps are quite frisky, and harder to catch. Our little Easter Egger seems very curious and enjoys staring up at us as we stare down at her. Today I put a thin layer of pine shavings in their box, which they immediately began to scratch and peck and then attempt to eat.
And of course they enjoy napping throughout the day, sleeping shoulder to shoulder.
