A Little Wish

Tomorrow is Mother's Day. I enjoy Mother's Day. I know many women don't, for varied and personal reasons. But I do. Motherhood has been a real blessing to me. I love my kids... I even *like* my kids! And tomorrow, I'm looking forward to talking to Elizabeth when she calls from Maryland. There's no doubt in my head that my family is eternal. Yes, life is good. But I'd also like to spend the day piecing a quilt top, though I know I won't. Sewing is relaxing, and on Mother's Day I always feel so indulgent.
