That is so sad! I guess I didn't really think that she was going to be there when I got back but I was starting to become really attached to her. I am sorry Carla! It is hard to watch any living creature die. At least she isn't suffering. It was so hard to watch her suffer and not be able to do anything about it.
Is Lacey the exquisite red bird? So darn sad! Our Jesalyn already knows that Grandma will be fishing the still-alive bees from the pool, and she respects all animals. She'd be laughing at these darling chickens.
