Roger's a small beekeeper, who keeps a close eye on his few hives. He's had a good year with his bees. More honey than he's previously harvested, and the gal at the nearby health food store is clamoring for additional honey to sell. However, something is amiss; just what, Roger's not sure. Bees making honey outside the natural sync of nature, and a queen laying her eggs late. Bees disappearing from their hives and leaving them empty. Another queen who does nothing.
Where are our nation's vanishing bees? And is it too late to save them?
A new film being shown around the nation, The Vanishing of the Bees, has an idea of just what is going on... and it doesn't bode well.
