My original Bosch mixer was purchased about 1979. After making I don't know how many loaves of bread, for 20 some odd years, the motor finally was kaput. I purchased another one about eight years ago. I made four batches of oatmeal/chocolate chip cookies in it last week and it's doing just fine. A Kitchen Aid would never fare so well.
So highly do I think of the Bosch mixer, that we made a present of one for John & Jenny a couple of years ago. Jenny makes wonderful bread with her Bosch.
And now you can *win* this wonderful mixer for yourself!
The Bosch Center in Sandy, Utah is holding a giveaway. This is the store from which we purchased Jenny's mixer. They have everything one could want to make wonderful bread, and then some. Wheat grinders, gluten, baking books, all sorts of goodies. The store holds wonderful classes which I wish I could attend.
At one time I baked eight loaves of bread in the larger bowl. You kids loved hot bread from the oven, with butter and honey dripping between your fingers. This brings back such wonderful memories, I'd like some bread right now.
So if you'd like your own wonderful Bosch Mixer and the memories to go with it, enter the contest now. And keep your fingers crossed. And just for fun, visit the Sandy Bosch Center to see what you're missing.
