Baking Again!

I've been suffering from Baking Cookies Withdrawal for a while now. With nobody home but us two, I no longer bake every weekend. sigh.
But I've found a little site to which I hope to contribute regularly, and take care of my withdrawal. Kind of a two birds with one stone situation, if you will.
Baking Gals bakes cookies, and other goodies to send to soldiers all over the world. The group looks to be well organized, and I'm looking forward to joining. I've quilted Quilts of Valor for wounded soldiers; these will be care packages sent to those still serving in the field, although it would be terrific if the cookies went to those in hospital, also.
I've lots of cookie ingredients in my pantry, and this will be a good reason to continue buying enormous bags of Nestle's chocolate chips at Costco.
