Emergency Preparedness

Just stumbled upon this site as I was looking for information about my Magic Mill Grinder.
While Laura was here, we baked... well, she baked while I ground wheat into flour for her. The fresh bread Laura baked was wonderful. We also enjoyed fresh whole wheat cinnamon rolls one morning.
I'm trying to eat more stone ground products this year. I'll also be putting together a better plan for emergency preparedness. This includes complete meals which I can prepare easily from a three month storage of food and emergency supplies. We could live with bread and water only, I'm sure if necessary. And perhaps under a really serious, longer emergency, that might come to pass.I hope not. But I'll feel a little more ready for what may come.

I do have a question for you ~ what are some of your favorite e.p. recipes?
