The Best Reason to Not Run for Congress, Ever
A wonderful story for the Thanksgiving season: A Democratic challenger who was ready to take on Rep. Brian Bilbray, R-California, is dropping out of the race. No scandal or horrible revelation has engulfed Democrat Dave Roberts; it's simply that Roberts, a foster parent for abused children, was "contacted by the San Diego County Department of Children’s Services and offered two additional foster children, ages 2 (years old) and 1 year old, the half-brother and sister of their youngest son."
Has there ever been a better reason to not run for Congress? God bless Dave Roberts.
