Mrs. Irena Sendler

Irena Sendler died last May at the age of 98 . Her story should be shared as there are too few heroes in our world about whom we know. During WWII she saved approximately 3000 people, many of them children. She was nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize, but lost out to Al Gore and his slideshow.
Please take the time to read her brief story to honor this brave and compassionate woman.

She wa a wonderful lady and to think Al Gote got the Nobel Peace Prize is dispicable. It has made the Nobel Peace Prize worthless.
