Queen sized quilts are backing up through June, yelling at me to be quilted.
*But I don't want to quilt.*
I want to plant a vegetable garden, spend time thinning the little fruits forming on the trees. So many wonderful recipes to be perused, with fresh colorful vegetables and herbs crying to be eaten. Bread.... hot from the oven.
And I really want chickens. The thought of fresh eggs from friendly backyard hens is becoming quite obsessive.
Oh,so badly. sigh....

Wow!! Look at that sky!!!!!
well, you know my motto--why work when you can just play?
That seemed to be your motto in high school, Lyle. Things have changed. :)
look at your beautiful yard and everything growing!!!
our tulips are starting to poke through. hopefully they can survive the snow we keep getting. :)
Jenny,
We've got such hot weather here, that my daffodils only seem to last a few days. They're so fragrant; the yard is wonderfully scented at night. But it's just too hot for the flowers themselves. Pretty disappointing.
