Linda is now known as Chicago's Chicken Lady since this video was shown.
After several complaints from Chicagoans (none of whom actually lived next to a pet chicken) about home price values falling, etc., the city council tried to push through an amendment that would ban backyard chickens. They weren't able to do so; apparently Mayor Daley is pro-chicken. We'll see what the outcome is of Chicago's Chicken Wars.

I love your blog. I ran across it after surfing a few. I like your story about the chickens and the monarchs. I try to quilt and have wanted a long arm for some time now. I think there's more to it than meets the eye. Thanks for the good read!
