Harmony in the Marriage

Iowa State University researcher Megan Murphy and her colleagues conducted a test with 72 married couples. Average age was 33 with a marriage of seven years. They found that women hold more sway in marriages today. Previously, men earned the money and thus made the big decisions. This no longer holds true.

"Women are responsible for overseeing the relationship, making sure the relationship runs, that everything gets done, and that everybody's happy," Murphy said.
Wife power could signal a harmonious couple. "There's been research that suggests that's a marker of a healthy marriage—that men accept influence from their wives."

Humph... I could have told her that....

Probably that you have a big influence on your husband, and you're both very happy. :)
